KNUTSFORD CIVIC CENTRE AND CINEMA

Knutsford Civic Centre was won as an ideas design and build competition and was completed several years ago.  It has a new front section, sides and roof unifying the retained areas, in a style respecting it's 1930's origins and the quirky buildings of Knutsford.

The new areas provide a foyer, exhibition space, bar, offices and WCs as well as disabled access and a new image to the street. The internal spaces were formed from the 1930’s cinema to provide a studio cinema seating 200 people and two large function rooms with kitchens and bars.  The larger function room has facilities for theatre and musical performance.
